Think2Speak and Think2 takeover BBC Radio Humberside
On Monday February 22nd, Think2Speak’s Project Co-Ordinator Lauren, accompanied by two of the amazing young people involved in our Think2 project, took over the BBC No Filter programme on BBC Radio Humberside. It’s fair to say, when we tuned into the show - we were blown away!
Preparing to record the programme, Lauren shared a quick picture to show how proud she was to talk about all the fantastic things we do here at Think2Speak in honour of LGBTQ+ History Month.
Presented by Martha Mangan, the show touches on all things LGBTQ+, sharing experiences from coming out to being an effective ally.
Lexi and Ali, from the Think2 team, also talk about their involvement with the project, and how they’ve been finding it so far. They were all able to contribute music to the show’s playlist too!
