Double Win at Charity Awards!
The Think2Speak director team celebrated a double award win at the inaugural East Midlands Charity Awards accompanied by our guest of honour Sue Fortune, Joint CEO from Lincolnshire Community Foundation.
Think2Speak - Double Finalists for first ever East Midlands Charity Awards
The work of Think2Speak’s services across Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire has been recognised in the new awards, with T2S shortlisted for the category of 'East Midlands Small Charity Big Impact. Our CEO and Founder, Lizzie Jordan, has also been shortlisted as ‘Charity Director of the year’.
Think2Speak CEO named District Champion of The Year
Chairman of West Lindsey District Council, Councillor Angela Lawrence, said: “These awards have been devised to find a way to honour the outstanding members of our district’s communities. Councillors have shaped and created this awards ceremony to give recognition to the numerous people who give up much of their free time to make West Lindsey a better place. They are the lifeblood of our communities.” The District Champion of the Year Award was presented to Lizzie Jordan, Think2Speak’s CEO and Founder.
Presenting the award, Coun David Cotton said: “For more than ten years Lizzie has gone into schools and shared her story of living with HIV with children and young people to educate them about healthy relationships and keeping themselves well and safe.’
Think2Speak Nominated for the UK’ Largest Diversity Awards
Think2Speak has been nominated for the Community Organisation Award at The National Diversity Awards 2018. The prestigious black tie event recognises nominees in their respective fields of diversity including age, disability, gender, race, faith, religion and sexual orientation.
