Six questions with... Juno Roche

What’s your favourite way to greet people?

Very much depends on who but usually a polite or meaningful hug & kiss.

What conversation makes you happy?

Conversations in which we try to sort out the worlds problems by talking and thinking and still manage to laugh at ourselves thinking we have the answers. Managing to find joy somewhere - these are tough times.

What conversation topic makes you nervous?

Not much makes me nervous but I do worry about the discrimination we face from certain quarters and how that is growing, it makes me feel like there is so much to do and not enough time. I’m nervous about travel and I’m a terribly nervous driver!

What makes you laugh?

Shared memories and stories from other people, the small things are always the funniest, not taking ourselves too seriously.

If you could ask someone, dead or alive, anything - who and what would you ask them?

Georgia O’Keefe - how did you feel when you had to leave Ghost Ranch? I live on my own in the mountains and know that one day I’ll have to move nearer to people and things if I need support.

What’s the bravest thing you’ve ever done?

Believing in my dreams to look out and see the mountains and making it happen on my own even though I was terrified.
