Six questions with... Heidi Fisher

What’s your favourite way to greet people?

Hi, how's life?

If it's my children then with a hug.

What conversation makes you happy?

Anything about social enterprise and how it is going to take over as the main business model, with all businesses having a positive impact on people and the planet, rather than just a focus on profits.

Also conversations about life, and how you realise a while after that you needed that really awful thing to happen so all the other great things could come in to your life.

What conversation topic makes you nervous?

Not much these days, but definitely when I'm being introduced at events or workshops and the person is making me sound amazing, I usually squirm. I don't consider myself that way at all. I never really know what to say after that.

The only other thing that makes me nervous is when my son starts a sentence with "Mum I have something to tell you. I'm really sorry..."

What makes you laugh?

The things my children say and do. Things like "my fingers need cutting off" when her nails need cutting. "When will I get my armour?" when he's watched Power Rangers. "Is Uncle older than Grandad?"

My reply "How can Uncle be older than his dad?"

"What? Grandad is Uncle's dad?"

If you could ask someone, dead or alive, anything - who and what would you ask them?

Jacinda Ardern - how does she make it look so effortless, how the policy of putting wellbeing first is working so far and how do we get more politicians like her.

Martin Luther King - I'm just really curious about his life and he is one person I have admired since I was young for his commitment and strong beliefs.

What’s the bravest thing you’ve ever done?

Given birth without any pain relief (also the stupidest thing I ever did and second time around I took the pethidine)!

More seriously, it was deciding that I wouldn't be an employee anymore and starting my own social enterprise, and having the joys of learning all the ups and downs that comes with that.
